Beyond The Masks Art Opening

Showing at Seatown's newest gallery -- along with a DJ, free nosh and an open bar -- local recluse/artist Curtis R Barnes' series of 80's era illustrations (portraying mostly grotesque human faces) uses one fluid line to create the illusion of dimension, and eerily touches on still-relevant topics like relations with Iran and the drug epidemic, but sadly not the hot ones, because who doesn't love lace-up knee boots and tongue rings?
