If you've never seen the 1958 BMW 507 Series II Roadster before, it might be because they only built 252 of them. Of those 252, a handful were bought by The King, who was apparently so obsessed with them that he allegedly drove Max Hoffman (the US BMW importer at the time) up a wall trying to source the German sportscar. Sadly Elvis won't be able to take advantage of the upcoming auction that this thing is poised to dominate.
The 507 Roadster also served as inspiration for many of BMW's most beloved modern machines, including the entire Z-Series.
Perfect German symmetry.
"Man, I really like Vegas." - Elvis quote that has nothing to do with how awesome this interior is.
Pro Tip: The grills pull double duty as cheese graters on the weekends.
Easily one of the most beautiful engine bays you'll see in a car from this era.
