The Best Transformers Ever

Sometimes things get put together, and you realize they should never have been apart in the first place, like peanut butter and chocolate, or Die Hard and Christmas. Now, a Toronto-based artist named Darren Rawlings has put a bunch of iconic movie cars together with Transformers for a series of works called "If They Could Transform," and your movie watching experience will forever be incomplete until these make it to the silver screen.

He drew the Ecto-1 as a tribute to the late, great Harold Ramis. Seriously, if they can make an Alien vs. Predator movie, they can make a movie about a Transformer Ecto-1 vs. the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. Note to movie execs: make this happen. Everyone else, sign this petition!

They've all managed to display their personality, like carrying a Huvrboard from Back to the Future II. Says Rawlings, "I recently saw that they’re trying to come out with the 'self-tying' high top shoes that Fox wore in Part II. As cool as that is… I want a hover board!  Am I right?!"

"Even as a kid though, I always knew that KITT was smarter than Micheal." As with a transforming KITT, the Hoff can go back to singing in German and eating Wendy's.

Of course Mad Max's car makes for a perfect transformer: it's just like Mel Gibson when he thinks he's not being recorded. Only... this is cool.

The Starsky & Hutch Torino transformer just proves, yet again, that the Torino is one of the most underrated American cars of all time.

Aaron Miller is the Rides editor for Supercompressor. He really, really wants that Transformers Ghostbusters movie to be a thing, so sign that petition, already.
