The Craziest Motorcycle Speed Run You'll Watch This Year

You need to have unbridled intestinal fortitude if you want to climb on a superbike and take a lap of the infamous Isle of Man flat out. Veteran rider Bruce Anstey of New Zealand is not confined by any bridles whatsoever. The 44-year-old put on a display over the weekend that is so mind-blowingly hair raising, beware of your blood pressure spiking by just watching it.

In case you're wondering, yes, this is the fastest lap ever recorded there. His average speed, including slowing down for corners, was 132.298 mph. Insane doesn't begin to describe it.

Aaron Miller is the Rides editor for Supercompressor. He's not sure how Anstey could even see what was coming up, he was going so fast.
