When Steve McQueen tore up San Francisco in the classic 1968 cop drama Bullitt, he turned the already immensely popular Mustang into a full blown cultural icon. After the release of the film he realized what a mistake it was not to drive the "Highland Green" machine off the set, so he spent the rest of his life trying to track the beast down, never succeeding. Luckily his son Chad decided to complete his father's failed mission, and had the Bullitt Mustang built from the ground up a couple of years ago. Even luckier? It's now for sale.
