The All Electric DeLorean

You can now straight-up own your own DeLorean (flying converter not included, sadly) that runs entirely on electric power, the conversion undertaken by DeLorean itself. It's no slouch, either, with a top speed of 125 mph and zero-to-60 in less than five seconds.

How? Here's how: it's a battery-operated motor putting out 215 kilowatts. That might be significantly less than 1.21 gigawatts, but it's also not ripping a hole in the fabric of space time, so we'll let it slide. Per DeLorean, it'll be able to do about 100 miles in normal driving, and can fully charge in just over three hours.

They didn't leave the interior alone, either. Since flux capacitors are so 1980s/not real, they've opted for an iPhone dock and a nav system that's presumably showing present-day roads, because where you're going, you'll still need them.

Aaron Miller is the Rides editor for Supercompressor. Part of him thinks he'd love driving this, and part of him knows he'd be walking home after 100 miles.
