Formula 1, Lambo SUVs: The eBay Seven 01/03/14

All the coolest cars of eBay Motors. All in one place.

Ultima GTR
The maniac who previously owned this car took a previously road-going racer designed by the same guy who penned the Noble, stripped out everything that didn't make it go faster on the track and replaced the drivetrain with nothing but 600 horsepower of pure twin turbo Porsche goodness. It's um... not slow. Even better? Because it's all P-car underneath, you can get it serviced at any Porsche dealer.

1987 Buick Grand National
If you had a poster on your wall of an American car as a kid, it was probably a Vector. But if you had another one alongside it, chances are that one was a Buick Grand National. Basically it was a factory sleeper hot rod that had a "little" turbo V6 — it helped the car handle a little better, but more importantly gave it enough power to keep up with anyone on your block. This one's been impeccably maintained, and has a shit-ton of shiny chrome all over the engine and undercarriage.

1962 AMC Rambler Classic
In the early sixties, AMC produced some of its best cars, despite being led by Mitt Romney's dad. This one's only averaged a little over a thousand miles a year, and has been used mostly to haul surf boards to and from the beach. It runs well and it's dirt cheap, so there's no reason to worry about getting sand in it.

1967 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia
It's no secret that old VWs were designed by Ferdinand Porsche and are closely related to early Porsches, but this car's definitely the result of a Karmann Ghia having sex with a Porsche 356, which is kinda Deliverance-y when you think about it. The skin's a chopped and modified Karmann, but the mechanicals are all 356, making this the ultimate sleeper — except for the fact that it's got a proper, racing-style roll bar.

1977 Shadow DN8 Formula 1
The Shadow racing team had some ups and downs in Formula 1, but the '77 car was developed by a guy who went on to build cars like Mario Andretti's championship-winning Lotus. This one is the sister car to the one Tom Price was driving when he encountered one of motorsport's most gruesome accidents. But don't worry about that: note the cool factor, like the exposed radiator between the two front wings.

1990 Lamborghini LM002
It's the 12-cylinder SUV that guarantees you'll never lose a parking spot at the mall to a soccer mom in a Suburban. The LM002 is kinda a weird footnote to Lamborghini's history, and even stranger than the fact that Lambo once made an SUV is the fact that it's powered by a 12-cylinder boat motor. Definitely one of the most unique vehicles ever made.

2012 Ural Gear Up
There's just something undeniably cool about Urals. They look kinda like East European schlock, but they've managed to attain a certain timelessness that you can't really replicate with most bikes. It's got a sidecar, so you're not gonna set any speed records darting through traffic and for that reason, it doesn't really matter that this one's only got 40 horsepower. It's just an immensely cool bike that's tough enough to cross Siberia.
