Playing with toys helps prepare young boys for manhood, which, as they'll soon discover, is mainly spent wishing you could be young again, playing with toys. Allowing you to regress in very adult fashion: Pocket Classics mini-cars.
From a group of UK car-buffs, Pocket pours about 450hrs into personally hand-making each of their fully functional, half-scale versions of iconic automobiles, all of which are "100% serviceable, and virtually indestructible", though you'll be far more likely to test those claims in the opposite order. Fitted with working lights, horns & indicators, most of the mini-motors come in either petrol or electric versions, with the former's four-stroke engine & three-speed gearbox topping out at 45mph, and the battery-driven two-speed reaching just 14, or the approximate age of your mentality when you get behind the wheel of one. There are five models on show, including the sleek Jag E-Type ("arguably the most beautiful car ever made"), the Mercedes 300SL roadster, and the original '40s Porsche Speedster 356, as well as the electric-only '20s Bugatti Type 35, and the strictly petrol, Army-style Willys Jeep, which can "comfortably fit two adults", depending on how comfortable they are with each others' willys.
The cars are all very customizable, with a spare-parts kit available if you want to tinker yourself, plus request-able custom covers, body shells, and performance upgrades -- sadly not available for the toy that made you a man in the first place.
