If ever there was an American that epitomized style, class, sportsmanship, and just all around awesomeness, it was Paul Newman. The man who passed up countless acting roles to pursue his twin passions of philanthropy and motorsports left a huge hole in American culture when he died, and it has yet to be filled. Now, Antiquorum Auctions is listing one of his race suits and helmets from the 1980s.
The suit's got all the original sponsor tags still sewn in, and it's made outta nomex, so if you somehow set it on fire it will be okay for a few seconds. Do not somehow set it on fire, however.
Of course you don't get more All American than Paul Newman, so why would his helmet be anything other than red, white and blue?
