This is what a Moto Guzzi should look like

Like a Ferrari with traction control and paddle shifters, modern day Moto Guzzi motorcycles have come a long way from a history of fiery Italian unpredicability. They've grown up, buttoned their shirts, and applied for respectable desk jobs. Good for them. Mercifully though, the gearheads at Revival Cycles in Austin,Texas have taken it upon themselves with their Le Mans MK1 custom to remind Moto Guzzi exactly where they came from: the race track.

They started with an original 1978 moto guzzi 850 Le Mans MK1 before removing a whole bunch of junk — who needs a headlight anyway? — before custom sculpting retro race farings to give the 850cc beast a more aerodynamic profile.

The number plates aren't just for show, the Revival dudes have apparently been racing this thing to pretty solid success as of late.

There's something about carbon wrapped pipes and a hand worked underplate that just feels so right.

Nothing that you see here is stock — and that's a good thing.
