Mad Max's dream car

If Mad Max walked into CarMax today, the J. Ruiter Reboot Buggy would be the only vehicle he'd drive away in. Built as a crazed experiment to see just how little was necessary to make a fully capable automobile, the Buggy stands as a powerful testament to extremely minimal design.

If you're looking for body panels you're not gonna find them here; J. took his inspiration from the horse drawn buggies of yore.

Mercifully though he took his inspiration for the engine and drivetrain from the race track, bolting in a fire-spitting 470-horsepower Chevy small-block V8.

Aside from a few tinted plexiglass panels and the drivetrain, that V8 has very little weight to lug around. Translation? It's stupid fast.

Imagine pulling up to the grocery store in this death rover. So boss.
