They're actually not even the first to do it. As this video from Vancouver in 2011 shows, the cars are surprisingly easy to flip, and the fad of flipping the microcars actually stems from a Dutch tradition of flipping them into canals that dates back almost a decade. Regardless of the origin or rationale, however, it's an appalling, yet oddly humorous, lack of respect of peoples' property.
