The eBay Seven, April 4th Edition: The Best Rides On eBay Motors This Week

“At home, I drive an old Land Rover.” — Richard Hammond

The very, very best of eBay Motors this week.

1966 Ford/Shelby Mustang Station Wagon
Technically, this car’s part classic Mustang and part Volvo station wagon. Technically, it’s kind of a Frankenstein’s Monster, and it’s powered by a 514cid V8 that’ll scare the villagers. Technically, it’s had some amazing attention to detail throughout the build, but… technically… Why are you still reading this?? Go look at this thing already. [More pics…]

1960 Porsche 356B T-5 Cabriolet
Some cars just have “it,” and this is one of ‘em. Not only is the 356 the definitive Porsche speedster, this one comes with a hard top, so it’s just as great to drive in the winter or rain. That ivory and blue color combination’s pretty classy too, and it’s all fresh off a full restoration. [More pics…]

1968 Bizzarini 5300 GT Strada
By now, you should be familiar with the story of Bizzarini, the Italian supercar that came about after a revolt at Ferrari (if not, brush up on your history). Very few of them had a proper alloy body, and this is one of them. This particular car has been driven exactly zero miles since its restoration by the guy who managed the Bizzarini factory back in the day. It’s worth a drool. [More pics…]

1997 Time Capsule Land Rover Defender Soft Top
Basically, the owner of this Land Rover bought it to add to his fairly impressive personal collection. Upon delivery, he parked it in his climate-controlled garage and never touched it. It only has 50 miles on the clock, so it’s essentially a brand new 17-year-old Defender in that sweet Monza Red, and an original top that has never been put down. In a nutshell, it’s perfectly virgin. [More pics…]

1970 Dodge Charger R/T
The guys over at RK Motors Charlotte set out to build the best damn Charger they could, and when they sell six-figure muscle cars as a matter of routine, the best damn Charger they could build sets a pretty high bar. They didn’t just strip the paint off; they dipped the whole friggin’ body in acid. They didn’t just rebuild the engine; they made sure it puts out over 580 hp. It’s dripping in leather inside, the suspension’s perfectly capable of going around a corner, and if you want something that will understatedly own every car it comes across in every possible way, this is it. 2010 Nissan GT-R with 1300hp
Some cars are more or less rolling advertisements against back yard engineering projects. This, on the other hand, is rolling proof that sometimes it’s worth spending the money to do things right. It’s got 1,300 hp, can hit the quarter mile in just eight seconds, and it can go from 60 to 130 mph in three seconds flat. The suspension’s setup for road racing, and at NY’s Monticello Motor Club, it was crowned the fastest GT-R on the East Coast. Nuts. [More pics…]

2013 Ferrari F12 Berlinetta
For reasons that probably run a bit deeper, and a bit less happy than “just for the hell of it,” this car was bought new a few months ago, driven for less than 500 miles, wrapped in this stunning matte white, then, well, here it is on eBay. If you’re not turned on by a 730 hp, 225 mph front-mid engined supercar that’s got the looks to match, the pharmaceutical industry has a pill for you… [More pics…]
