The Dana Hotel's fancy Asian steakhouse Ajasteak has dropped the beef focus, and shifted the concept to more casual shared-plates, dishing out tempura rock shrimp with spicy sambal and roasted pineapple, five-spice beef short ribs with Chinese mustard mashed potatoes, and a sustainable seafood-focused "snak bar" featuring creations like oysters on the half shell with yuzu ice, and Korean bulgogi beef tacos (with shrimp and quick kimchee) -- a much less insane Asian-Latin hybrid than Tila Tequila.
