Astronaut Chris Hadfield Just Released His First Single, And It's Surprisingly Awesome

You could call Commander Chris Hadfield something of a Renaissance man. Not only is he a Canadian Astronaut who spent time living on the International Space Station, he's also a social media icon and talented musician who captured the world's attention back in 2013, with his beautiful cover of Bowie's "Space Oddity," the first music video recorded in space.

Now back on Earth, Hadfield dropped his first true single today, from his upcoming album "Space Sessions: Songs From A Tin Can," now available for pre-order. Check out the video for the song "Feet Up" below.

Keep an eye out for the space music when the album drops on October 9.

Brett Williams is an editorial assistant at Supercompressor. He can't even play a guitar in normal gravity.
