It looks like Urban Outfitters' answer to the spaceship, but the SpaceX Dragon V2 capsule is the real deal and, starting in 2017, this little guy will start bringing astronauts to the International Space Station.
Early this morning, Elon Musk's dream came even closer to fruition when the Dragon V2 started testing on its abort system—a scary idea, but ultimately a step in bringing the capsule even closer to its 2017 launch date.
Vox reports, that the test was conducted as such: "a set of thrusters built into the capsule lifted it up off the top of a stationary base (like a pilot's ejector seat), causing it to fly nearly 5,000 feet up into the air, then parachute down into the Atlantic."
The below GIF gives us a taste of how the little craft will operate when finally functional. Hell yeah, space!!
