Rumored associations: Salvatore Testa, "Little Nicky" Scarfo, Genovese family
Long before The Donald pretended to be a boss on TV, or pretended to be a politician everywhere, he was an uber-successful real estate mogul. But the Toupeed Titan has some sordid real estate dealings he might want to clear up before he sets up shop in the White House.
There are reports that link Trump to numerous crime bosses and mafia families going back to his days developing Casinos in Atlantic City, apparently with some strong-arming help (cheap labor, cheap land, government bribes, etc.) from some of the heaviest players in the game. And the dirty stuff doesn't stop in AC (it never really does). As he expanded his empire to NYC, Trump shared an attorney with Genovese crime boss "Fat Tony" Salerno, and it's been reported that the two had organized "sit-downs" to discuss various wheelings and dealings that helped develop his gold-plated empire. Yikes. With a crime-soaked resume like that, I guess the only place he can get a job is in Washington. (Hey oh!)
