Photographer Max Touhey was recently given access to the shuttered TWA Flight Center at JFK, and the images he came away with prove the legendary Eero Saarinen-designed space remains decades ahead of its time. The Flight Center is set to be redeveloped into a hotel, so thankfully we have this one last look. These photos, courtesy of Curbed NY, transport us back to a time when taking a trip on a plane was much more than just catching a flight, while showing us what public spaces have the potential to look like in the future.
