A Del Frisco's vet's meow-riffic FW spot

From the Lili's Bistro owner and an ex- FW Del Frisco's chef, this yellow-walled eatery's filled with photos of Mexican doorways, and serves up Ameri-Mex starting with apps like Gorgonzola/onion/pepper waffle fries and escargot-topped portobellos, then moving on to specialties such as roasted Cornish hen stuffed with cornbread-tamale dressing, and the jalapeno grits-sided King Ranch Poblano -- as opposed to the King Ralph Poblano, which was in and out of restaurants in a week, and was just no good, man.
