Being a twin can provide many benefits, like always having a friend your age around, and making it a snap to sleep with that friend's girlfriends. For sunglasses from twins both focused on a single goal, check out Dsquared2.
From identical twins Dean and Dan, who teamed up to bolt suburban Toronto for Milan to launch their menswear company, Dsquared2 just dropped its initial eyewear line, a made-in-Italy collection they claim is influenced by 70s hip-hop, and arguably offers a touch of pilot and gym teacher, but not that kind of touch. The eight models start with two Run-DMC-ish jobs (one boxy, one more angularly rounded) with thick, polished black beveled-edge frames, a gold nose bridge, rubber nose pads, and half gold/half plastic arms, making them the eyewear equivalent of Joan Rivers halfway through a spray-tan. A second grouping consists of big, solid plastic aviators mini-riveted onto a metal backing that's exposed across the bridge, in slightly different shapes (one more squared off, one more rounded, one very deep) coming in either red, green, or tortoiseshell w/ gold metal trim, previous only available at finer gentlemen's clubs.
There're also more classic-looking wire-rim aviators that rock different colored oversized bridges/earpieces (black, gold, tortoiseshell), and come with a Dsquared2 logo right in the middle -- the very position of a certain confused girlfriend.
