The Downtown boozer gets even better

The speakeasy-ish downtown drinkery is shedding the last vestiges of its more recent coffee house past (no more baristas, or early morning hours), tweaking the already-vintage interior with antique wallpaper, and pimping the menu with Aussie-inspired ginger beer-based 'tails, plus $5-$7 small plates like a goat cheese/ cherry tomato Basque pizza, veal meatballs, and calamari w/ Manchego, chorizo & chickpeas, which are most easily enjoyed sitting down, or at least squatting.
