More of Silverlake's best Mexican, now downtown

Opening Fri, the Downtown branch of the beloved Silverlake taqueria's an expanded ode to Mexico located in a former 1920s-era jewelry store with the original tiles and domed ceiling intact, and a tequila tasting room in the store's former vault. Foodwise, they're slinging south of the border goodness ranging from goat barbacoa w/ ancho chile and herbs, habanero-sauteed red snapper w/ wine garlic butter, and rock lobster tails sauteed in garlic, chile, lime & white wine, presumably procured from the finest Rush Limbaugh listener calls.
