2. Because 70 beers!
Each brewery will have multiple offerings on tap, including one offering with a fall/winter seasonal ingredient. Warm yourself with Aeronaut’s Sumac Nandu (with foraged sumac) and Baxter’s Phantom Punch (an Export Stout with cacao nibs & vanilla). Or get REALLY warm with High Horse’s Cask Conditioned Beastie, a hoppy rye ale with ghost chilies and fire-roasted poblano peppers. After that, you might want to cool off with Peak Organic’s Holiday Saison with cinnamon and other seasonal spices.
3. Local craft ciders will be there in full force
Fermented apple libations are all the rage these days, and New England leads the way (naturally) with some serious ciders. The eight participating cideries are Downeast (MA), Artifact Cider Project (MA), Bantam (MA), Citizen (VT), Far From the Tree (MA), Headwater (MA), Shacksbury (VT), and Urban Farm Fermentory (ME). There will be 23 ciders for your drinking pleasure, including Artifact’s Wild Thing (cider with a touch of hops), Far From the Tree’s Roots (with maple syrup!), and Shackbury’s Classic (dry English cider).
