Porter's Spirit Bar hits the reset button

Whether homesick, looking to mix things up, or just tired of catering to hoards of drunk Cornhuskers on Saturdays in the Fall, the native Dubliner behind Porter Square's 10yr-old Spirit Bar has hit the reset button and overhauled the space into an authentic Irish pub that pours 70 beers (including modestly "the best Guinness outside of Dublin's Fagan's") and 50 Irish & Scotch whiskeys alongside traditional grub like smoked-cod pie with a garlic cream mashed potato crust.
