An Old West watering hole at Six Corners

Are you a fan of Tombstone? The 1993 film, not the popular frozen pizza brand. Because you can get an Old West feel and stop eating from the freezer section thanks to High Noon Saloon, a Tex-Mex tequila bar sporting a spur-scuffed hickory floor, olde-tyme photography, butcher block tables, and fringed leather stools. Continuing the bordello vibe are crystal chandeliers and Victorian-patterned wallpaper, along with a player piano to be retrofitted as a DJ booth, just like back in the day! These applewood-smoked, ancho-coffee-rubbed brisket tacos are hit with chipotle BBQ and homemade slaw. But sometimes only beef that's breaded and fried will do, so this chicken fried steak comes slathered in white wine gravy with a side of chipotle (of course) mashed potatoes. This tamale trio includes pork shoulder with salsa verde, chicken with guajillo salsa, and goat cheese with rajas (the creamy poblanos, not the Indian princes). They're tapping 15 brews and stocking 20 tequilas, the latter going into concoctions like this spicy mango marg with Milagro Reposado, ancho-chili, and agave nectar. If you’re in the mood for hanky panky, just buy it! No, don't get a hooker, instead order the eponymous drink with gin, Carpano Antica, Fernet Branca, and lemon. Finish things off with churros and spicy pasilla chocolate dip. There are enough to share, lest you find yourself headed for that other tombstone.
