Warm-weather cocktails don’t get much better than the Acapulco, a blend of aged tequila, white rum, and three kinds of fruit juice. Invented in the vacation destination of the same name, 1500 miles south of San Diego on Mexico’s Pacific coast, this tipple is tailor-made for white sand, blue sky, and rolling waves.
Mix one up like so:
- 1 oz reposado tequila
- 1 oz white rum
- .75 oz pineapple juice
- .5 oz lime juice
- .5 oz grapefruit juice
- .25 oz agave syrup
- Pineapple wedge, for garnish
- Add tequila, rum, pineapple juice, lime juice, grapefruit juice, and agave syrup to a shaker tin with ice.
- Shake to combine and chill, then strain over fresh ice in a Rocks glass.
- Garnish with a pineapple wedge.
