Deep-fried Guinness. It's here.

When Oh, Bite It! brought us deep-fried tequila shots this summer, we shed a single tear and promptly threw out the tray of Jell-O shots we were working on for that agave innovation. But now that it's fall, we need something a little heartier to bring to parties, which is why the site's returned with deep-fried Guinness.

The principles here are the same: cut up some pound cake cubes, lovingly soak them each in the stout, and fry them in oil for a few seconds. Suddenly, you have a batch of shots that would make St. Patrick proud. You can sprinkle them with powdered sugar if you like, or just take these things no chaser. Either way, you'll probably be slurring "Oh Danny Boy" by the end of the night.
