When you've already staged a Starbucks Spartacus prank and taken a Brooklyn bar back to the 1860s, what's a comedy troupe to do? If you're Improv Everywhere, the answer is clear: put on a musical about beer.
After enlisting the help of the NY Brewers Association, the group sent 12 "agents" to Houston Hall on a typical night. When one agent pretended to be overwhelmed by his beer options, the rest of the team gradually crept out of the crowd to take him through a full-length song about suds. There's a drumline over kegs, the waiter does a back flip, and our hero gets slapped when he dares to consider a light beer. Watch the spectacle above, then marvel at the fact that they staged this on the hour over the course of the evening.
