Apparently, Gatorade thinks you're not entitled to a Gatorade unless you sweat for it (do hangover sweats count as sweating?). That's the message the sports drink brand is putting out in its new commercials featuring virtual no-names JJ Watt and Peyton and Eli Manning.
In the clip above, Houston Texans defensive end Watt knocks over a Gatorade vending machine with just a slight tap, to educate a bro dressed identically to him about what's required to earn hydration from neon-colored electrolyte water. Watt also imparts some sage wisdom, saying, "Muscle shirts are for muscles."
Gatorade partnered with NFL Films to bring this new "Sweat It To Get It" initiative to college campuses. The other clips, which you can see below, show Watt -- as well as Peyton and Eli Manning -- forcing unsuspecting Gatorade buyers to sweat by running in place and doing high-knee exercises. So, this campaign will either really get your into shape or turn you off Gatorade forever.
Check out the rest of the clips below, and beware of strange football players yelling at you at vending machines.
