A new twist on a classic cocktail from Joseph Leonard


  • 1.5 oz mezcal
  • 0.5 oz cherry herring
  • Splash campari
  • 0.5 grapefruit juice
  • Splash agave syrup
  • 2 dashes allspice


  1. Stir and pour in a rocks glass with ice and top it with ginger ale.
  2. Garnish with orange peel.
