This Fridge Can Also Make You a Hot Cup of Coffee Instantly

One of the biggest problems with fridges is that they can only make things colder, unless you take into consideration the fact that owning one will make you more attractive to people who think refrigeration is hot. BUT ALL THAT IS ABOUT TO CHANGE, because GE and Keurig have teamed up to make the world's first fridge with a built-in coffee machine. And everyone's gonna love it.

The new GE Café Series refrigerator, with K-Cup technology, will be available starting this fall starting at $3,300. Its door-mounted water dispenser has the added ability to make hot water in addition to cold, and comes with a plastic pod into which you can place your desired K-Cup (go with any of the ones that our coffee expert deemed the best) for a quick cup of joe. You can even tell it what size mug you're using.

It's also programmable in advance, so coffee-starved refrigerator owners can plug the time they want to have coffee into an app, and the fridge will heat up some water in anticipation of that moment. Now if only we could get it to prepare our food, too...
