Sierra Nevada's beer camp is like the opposite of fat camp

While most Summer camp experiences consist of s'mores and learning which leaves not to wipe with, the good folks at Sierra Nevada have launched their own version of the seminal Summer experience by making like the cool counselors and focusing exclusively on beer. Beginning this July, Sierra Nevada will hit the road for its seventh annual, seven-city "Beer Camp", which promises a staggering amount of suds and zero latrines.

Sierra Nevada kicks things off at its homebase of Chico, CA on Saturday, July 19th. From there, they'll hit San Diego (July 20th); Denver (July 25th); Chicago (July 27th); Portland, ME (August 1); Philly (August 2nd); and Mills River, NC (August 3rd). Each stop will, of course, include Sierra Nevada beers a-plenty, but this is no Nevada-exclusive affair. Every destination will also include 3 Floyds, Allagash, Asheville, Ballast Point, Bell's, Cigar City, Firestone Walker, New Glarus, Oskar Blues, Russian River, and Victory beers, plus a rotating set from local brewers.

Tix are on sale now, and there's also a pretty unbelievable collaboration pack of beers Sierra Nevada brewed specially with each of the 12 brewery partners. Obviously, you've got some camp activities to do before the 3pm fun hike.
