Finally, you can drink a bottle of Star Trek bloodwine

Drinking the blood of your enemies is supposed to be a real power move, but seeing as murder is a capital offense, we can't really recommend it. What we can recommend is Vinport's new Klingon Bloodwine, a Star Trek-inspired vintage that's full of Malbec, Syrah, and Petit Verdot instead of hemoglobin.

CBS Consumer Products partnered with Vinport to release this take on the Klingons' essential victory wine. You can see their mark on the front label, which features their go-to weapon (the bat'leth) and the back label, which bears their rallying cry of "yIlop! wa'IeS chaq maHegh!" ("Celebrate! Tomorrow we may die!", for those of you who skipped Klingon class.) Boasting notes of plum and dark berries, the 2012 wine will begin shipping on December 8th. While you can order a single Klingon Bloodwine if you wish, the stuff will also be packaged in a "Star Trek Sampler" of all of Vinport's Trekkie wines. That includes The City on the Edge of Forever, The Trouble with Tribbles, and Mirror Mirror -- which has some particularly choice Leonard Nimoy artwork. Reserve your bottles now to be the hero of the 2015 convention scene.
