Starbucks Prices Are Going Up Starting Tuesday

As if your pre-coffee morning haze didn't suck enough already, prepare to shell out a little more for your Starbucks drink thanks to a new price hike coming from the coffee-purveyor starting Tuesday. Welp.
While it appears not all drinks will rise in price, some drinks -- mostly hot ones -- affected by the hike will see increases ranging from 5 to 20 cents, according to a report by the Associated Press. For example, tall (small) and venti (large) brewed coffees will each go up 10 cents in most places, among other increases not specified by Starbucks. Luckily, it's summer/cold drink season, so we likely won't start fully feeling the burn until cooler, pumpkin spice weather approaches.
Until then, feel free to do the depressing math on what a 10 cent increase will cost you over a year. Or don't and live in ignorant, caffeinated bliss.
