Usually, fizzy tablet drinks help you overcome a wild night out. But a current offering from Indiegogo is looking to do just the opposite. XUVO bills itself as the first ever blacklight-reactive energy drink tablet mixer, meaning it does three things: glows in the dark, gives you a jolt, and mixes dangerously (or wonderfully?) with your whiskey.
The project is still well behind its goal of $100,000, yet it hopes to bring EDM-inspired energy tablets to the masses, helping them hone their horrible, horrible dance moves through a boost of energy. According to the project, the stuff only takes 8oz of liquid to get going, with each clocking in at 9 calories per serving. You can currently choose between Orange Buzz, Electric Blue Hawaiian, Neon Mojito, and Cosmic Apple -- all of which turn pretty colors in the dark. And yes, we know this sounds like something somebody named DJ Liquid Nintendo would fund in full, but when there's a reward of a "collector's VHS" on the line, you gotta pitch in. Fingers crossed it's a mint-condition tape of Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo.
