Burritos and bottle service in Old City

You know how you're always going on and on about how there's nowhere downtown to close business deals over a $2000 bottle of Louis XIII and get some mole chicken skewers and a decent freaking burrito? Well settle down, because Tantra Luxe Lounge has been reopened and refurbished by a local exec who's bestowed the bi-level Old City barstaurant with modern Mexican grub, nightly martini happy hours, and an upstairs line-up of local DJs.Three lounges upstairs and downstairs are packed with everything you'd find at a Kanye West show: Renaissance art details, laser lights, crystal chandeliers, stacks of speakers, and possibly inexplicable kilts that everyone's supposed to just kind of go with. The whole place is served from an all-night kitchen downstairs run by an Ernesto's 1521 vet who's dishing out booze-absorbing comforts like burritos...... and this massive poblano stuffed with seasonal vegetables in a spicy cream sauce. There're also two black-lit bars where corseted, tattooed 'tenders preside over $5 Grey Goose happy hours nightly, paving the way for regretful hours the next day.If you like sweet drinks or you're Don Henley, get this peach schnapps-topped Tequila Sunrise...... which goes down as smooth as a bottle of Louis XIII, but doesn't come with a sweet souvenir glass. Though both pair nicely with burritos.
