Located in the back room of East Village’s Blind Burro, the Cat Eye Club is the reincarnation of a stylish '60s lounge, and don't worry: that burro is totes blind, so he has a really hard time finding the entrance. There's black and red leather everywhere to enhance the throwback vibe, though they wisely chose to keep it modern with the flatscreen they're using to play era-appropriate flicks. That vintage globe teaches geography and provides bottle service. Naturally they're going full-on old school and serving up your preferred booze in an antique crystal decanter like the one your mom inherited from grandma, which is why Aunt Sally no longer talks to her. Your preferred booze should probably be Midori. But second should be Scotch. Yeah, definitely Scotch. But on the off-chance it isn't, they have a history-inspired list of libations like the French 75 (invented in Paris circa 1915), EnlightenMINT Punch made with mint/ limoncello/ ginger beer & cava, or a Four Roses Small Batch Kentucky Bourbon on the rocks. Order all three if you want to finish the night blinder than that burro who's still trying to find the door.
