1. Cienfuegos 443 E 6th St, New York, NY 10009 (East Village)

From the Death & Co/Mayahuel power team, this hidden Cuban rum house in the East Village delivers excellent punches and Latin small plates in a space caged in by a floor-to-ceiling wrought iron gate. The famed punch bowls are available in three different sizes (which're crafted to accommodate all kinds of groups), but there is no shortage of individual cocktail options if your party has different needs. Cienfuegos also occasionally hosts guest mixologists, ensuring that you'll never have to order the same drink twice.
