After testing the waters of outdoor vending last Fall with a hot dog cart, the dudes behind Area Four have apparently deemed those waters ready to pencil-dive into, by unveiling a state-of-the-art truck equipped with both a griddle and an oven that specializes in pastries & folded Italian flatbreads.
Rocking a bright yellow A4 logo atop graffiti-adorned urban camo, the truck (handsomely pictured above) was designed and painted by three local artists.
All of whom you can see making their truck art here, in this sweet time-lapse video.
Or you can just jump right to the food and casually peruse the cheerful morning menu board.
These are not filled with Tang. But they are filled with java from Barrington Coffee Roasters.
And you should be filled with this savory egg, cheddar & maple sausage breakfast sammie on an English muffin.
Assuming your office already provides complimentary Folgers and little boxes of Honey Smacks, try one of their grilled flatbread piadini instead, like the house-smoked Cape Cod swordfish with pickled onions and parsley, or this delicious muffuletta.
Just because their hot dog stand isn't there doesn't mean you still can't score one of their huge grass-fed beef franks from BN Ranch. Because, clearly, you can.
Finally, be smart and look ahead to your late-afternoon snack by testing the limits of your stomach with a classic prosciutto, arugula & cheese or braised beef short rib number for the road.
