Dozens of restaurants are making things easy for you this year, and we’ve selected 23 can’t-miss enjoy-at-home options in honor of December 25. Whether you’re looking for tamales, seafood platters, BBQ, or Norman Rockwellian feasts of turkey and ham, you can set a nice table, crank up Mariah to level 10, and drink an extra serving of eggnog because you won’t have to drive anywhere.
Virgin Hotels Dallas
Set out an impressive spread with a variety of options including slow-roasted pit ham and rotisserie chicken, plus side dishes galore such as butternut squash bisque, red cabbage and endive slaw, cinnamon dulce caramel pecan pie, and so much more. We’ve never even thought of authentic Nashville Hot Chicken for Christmas dinner, but now that it’s on our mind, we think it sounds perfect. The Haul it Home menu offers everything from bone-in chicken and tenders in your favorite level of spice, as well as catfish, shrimp, and tons of side dishes (pimento cheese grits are a must).

Christmas dinner from a pizza place? Anything’s possible in 2020 as celebrity chef Stephan Pyles pops in to create a special takeout menu for the restaurant featuring chile-honey baked ham and lasagna, along with butternut squash polenta, tomatillo green beans with almonds, and caramelized shallot-sage mashed potatoes. Plus, honeycrisp apple-cream cheese flatbread “pie” among the desserts. Order by 4 pm December 21 for pickup on December 24.

Puttin’ on the Ritz just got a whole lot easier with a special Christmas to-go menu from the luxury hotel. Highlights include Texas honey and brown sugar baked ham, truffle mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, bourbon maple glazed carrots, and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Orders must be submitted by December 16 at noon for pickup on December 23.

TJ's Seafood Market
You’ll find a whole lot more than seafood on the holiday menu, including beef tenderloin and mashed potatoes, but fish is still an absolute must. Served those you love platters of hackleback caviar, smoked salmon, shrimp cocktail, lobster rolls, and so much more under-the-sea goodness from appetizers to main courses. Order by December 22 for pickup December 23 or 24.

Ready-to-heat holiday curbside kits are the name of the game at these sister restaurants. Each kit includes a choice of smoked turkey breast, ham, or beef tenderloin, which comes with shrimp cocktail. All selections include a variety of sides ranging from buttermilk chive whipped potatoes to grilled asparagus, with four individual cornbread muffins and dinner salad with honey herb vinaigrette. Extra sides, pounds of meat, Route 66 pecan pies and $25 bottles of wine can be added to any order. Kits must be pre-ordered 72 hours in advance by December 22 at noon.

For a downhome, country comfort meal with all the fixin’s, turn to this popular chain for everything you need.
