Now open at Stemmons and Mockingbird, Bombshells Restaurant & Bar's just your average WWII-themed breastaurant with totally exposed... uh... brick walls, plus natural-feeling... um... decor elements, including salvaged airplane wings above the bar. Inside they'll seat 175-plus, all with a view of any of 40 boob(!)tubes, plus there's a 100-seat patio you can access through their rolling garage door. Oh also: the place is filled with real (deactivated, we think) bombs and bullet shells. In addition to other aforementioned things, the girls behind the bar will serve WWII-themed drinks like the Manhattan Project (Maker's 46, vermouth, bitters) and the Memphis Belle (Smirnoff Root Beer float w/ Baileys & Coke). Food includes signature apps like these southwest egg rolls, fried pickles, and bacon-wrapped shrimp & jalapenos, plus classics like buffalo shrimp & wings that -- after checking out that last picture -- probably won't be boneless. Still hungry? They've got sammies (Philly cheesesteaks, catfish po' boys), fish (potato-backed blackened tilapia), and burgers like the Kaiser bun-encased full-pound B52, which's -- of course -- bomber than anything else on the menu.
