Conveyor belts are good for a lot of things, all of which took place on either I Love Lucy or Laverne and Shirley. Now using them for something other than hilarious female tomfoolery, Fresh Bites
Just open, FB is a massive breakfast/lunch/dinner offshoot of Beverly Hills casual standby Basic Bites, featuring an indoor/outdoor patio dotted with foliage, a wall featuring a trickling waterfall, and an entirely open kitchen making grub (thought up by a former Pane E Vino/Il Fornaio chef) in front of you, then sending it towards the cashier on a restaurant-long conveyor belt, as Val Kilmer's ribbon belt was too long. Food skews vaguely Italian, w/ deliciousness including grilled skewers (chicken sausage/salmon/steak), sandwiches (the "Surfing Tuna" w/ marinated artichokes, arugula, basil, dijon, and roasted garlic pesto; the "Snappy Beef", w/ tomato, mushroom, Parmesan, etc) and pizzas, including the "Rico Spinacci" w/ ricotta, spinach, walnuts, & garlic pesto; and the caramelized onion/mozzarella "Crying Chicken," each of which's available on your choice of white, multigrain, or gluten free crust, so enjoy the white crust. They've also got a monster breakfast menu, w/ three kinds of pancakes (buttermilk/multi-grain/blue corn), six breakfast sandwiches (the "Egg-Extreme" w/ boiled egg, spinach, fontina, avocado, etc), and a range of omelettes including the "Pro", w/ turkey, ham, spinach, mushroom, and cheddar, and the yukon gold/ string bean/ Swiss cheese/ pesto "Digging for Gold" -- the perfect dish for your lady, if all you're hoping to do is 49 her.
To guarantee you're properly sated, they've also got a closely-curated, Italy-and-Cali-only beer and wine list, as well as desserts from a NY pastry chef -- but don't eat too many, or you'll be forced to tell your tailor that you also "love loosey".
