The Savoy -- the first luxury hotel in Britain when it was launched, thanks to opulent & groundbreaking touches such as "electricity & running water" -- has pushed the envelope by bringing you these smoked salmon sausages… and other oceanic deliciousness at their new resto Kaspar's, slapped right on the banks of the Thames
The name comes courtesy of this guy right here: a stone cat that belonged to Kaspar's friendly ghost, The River Restaurant, who would add him on to any party of 13 guests, as if cats don't have enough of a messiah complex already.
This is what the place looks like. It's The Savoy. They're not effing around.
So -- back to those swimmers. They've got a vast menu of smoked & cured offerings, such as star anise-cured salmon, hot-smoked sablefish, citrus seabass, peppered monkfish, and beetroot halibut. And that's not to mention lobster club sandwiches and (for real) salmon in ice cream cones.
They also have more land-based goodness hitting the grill, from these beef fillets to lamb cutlets -- and a list of classic 'tails to accompany everything, including their fancy running water!
