Ah, David Lynch -- he brought surrealism into mainstream cinema, and giraffes into their harpsichord classes. Now, the pop-up impresarios over at Funthyme Dining are honouring him with a full-on Lynch-themed supperclub, using a huge space just off Broadway Market, which they'll need for all the currently under-wraps "installations & performance" planned to further dizzy your senses.
What unexpected goodness can you expect from the food? For starters, you'll easily find Waldo's Lament, inspired by the above scene in Twin Peaks (where a bird murder-witness named Waldo is killed). It has savoury doughnuts w/ smoked pigeon ragu.
Mains offer the Eraserhead-esque Henry’s (Ir)regular Chicken: a whole roast poussin w/ spiced quinoa & ‘grandmother’s fingers’ (that's okra to you and me, thank God)
Finally, dessert will be "Cherry Pie and Coffee Backwards", that is, it'll be coffee cake w/ a cherry milkshake, after which you'll probably feel like an elephant, man.
