Join the noble fight to bring Bob Marley Ben & Jerry's to America

After giving Gilly her own ice cream earlier this summer, Ben & Jerry's is closing out the season with another tribute pint, this time to the man who's graced every college dorm room wall in America: Bob Marley.

Since Marley's album Legend turns 30 this year, Ben & Jerry's decided to mark the occasion with a special pint called Satisfy My Bowl. It's a banana ice cream with a caramel/cookie swirl that's dotted with tiny chocolate peace signs -- and before you ask, no, those peace signs have not been injected with any mind-altering substances. The treat was made in partnership with the 1Love Foundation, with proceeds going towards a youth empowerment program in Jamaica. But guess what? It's only available in the UK.

A bunch of banana ice cream-hungry fans in America have already started a petition to bring Satisfy My Bowl stateside. Right now, they're at 3,852 signatures, which is pretty close to their goal of 5,000. Once they hit that goal, the group is planning to beg Ben & Jerry's via email to make the pint a global flavor. We wish them the best of luck, but just in case, someone should really put out the distress signal to Snoop Lion.
