In Japan, breakfast now means Spamburgers and hot dogs

Last week, Japan gave us a serious case of envy with its Krispy Kreme donut sundaes. Now, it's giving us a serious case of confusion, thanks to its Burger King "morning menu" of bolognese burgers, hot dogs, and Spam cheeseburgers. With coffee. Because it's breakfast.

The new breakfast menu includes seven items with nary an egg or hash brown in sight. On top of the three we just mentioned, BK Japan is offering a BLT burger, a beef & ham sandwich, a fish sandwich, and a "morning burger" -- which, as far as we can tell, is just a regular burger, but served before 11:00am.

Because all of these things pair amazingly with OJ, you can make any of the items a combo meal with juice or coffee. Tums are extra.
