This Carl's Jr. snickerdoodle ice cream sandwich laughs at the snow-covered East Coast

While customers at its sister restaurant Hardee's are using salt on their driveways more than on fries, Carl's Jr. is celebrating its non-arctic weather with a new snickerdoodle ice cream sandwich. The sibling on the West Coast is always bragging about the weather.

Carl's Jr. tested the cookie sandwich in September, but it's now available at all the West/Southwest restaurant's unfairly temperate locations. While the sandwiches start at $1.49, for a limited time you can grab one for free with the purchase of the Philly Cheesesteak Burger that you were already going to get. Be sure to send a pic of your snickerdoodle fix to friends back East... they could use a pic of something warmer than their apartments.
