We're all going to eat 8,300 Cinnabons per hour this week

Since people are essentially living out of airport terminals and transportation hubs this Thanksgiving (thanks a LOT, Winter Storm Cato!), we're grateful that there are food court options available to weary travelers. And where there are food courts, there are bound to be Cinnabons. And where there are Cinnabons, there are bound to be people justifying the consumption of Cinnabon cinnamon buns. Over one million buns, to be precise.

That's right. This week alone, according to Bloomberg Businessweek, Americans will consume over 8,300 Cinnabons PER HOUR. Lots of time spent on the road or in the air translates to high sales for the snack chain, whose 880-calorie sugar-bombs will constitute a large portion of travelers' diets these next couple of days -- days which mark the start of what's referred to internally as "Jollybon" (aka the holiday season).

So, will you be doing your part? I know I will.
