This baker needs your help to save her "Dessert Hearse"

You don't normally associate desserts with death (unless you're this couple), but for baking whiz Deborah Dawson, it's a legit business model. The Ventura, California food trucker has been selling pies, tarts, and cakes out of a 1967 Cadillac Superior hearse for the past few years, but she now needs the Kickstarter community's help fixing her morbid ride.

Dawson, who calls her car the Dessert Hearse, is hoping to crowdfund the car's $20,000 repair bill. The old Caddy's got a whole slew of problems, including but not limited to a cracked windshield, leaking, and a complete lack of windshield wipers. Should you chip in for the fees, Dawson will reward you with brownies and coffin-shaped plaques -- or, if you're especially generous, a catered 300-person party. She needs to get the car tuned up soon to keep her business going, so if you're a fan of apple slab pies and the macabre, head over to that Kickstarter now.
