Domino's Is Giving Away 20,000 Free Pizzas Today Because the Mets Suck
Forget the peanuts and Cracker Jacks: Domino's re-upped on its #DomiNoNo promise from last year, pledging to dish out 20,000 free pizzas for each of the first two no-hitters of the MLB season, and we've already got one of them thanks to the Giants' Chris Heston, who threw a no-hitter against the luckless Mets last night. Bad news for Terry Collins, great news for lovers of hot cheese and pepperoni.
To be one of the lucky pie-winners, all you've gotta do is sign up for a free account at MLB.com and be one of the first 20,000 users to hit up www.mlb.com/dominono at 3pm EST, and you'll get a coupon code entitling you to a free medium two-topping handmade pizza. It's the simplest thing in the world -- next to striking out the entire Amazin's roster, apparently.
The free pies don't qualify for delivery, so you'll have to pick 'em up yourselves, and if you end up with one of the 20,000 codes, be sure to claim it within the next 5 business days, or it'll invalidate and the Mets' sacrifice will have been for naught.
If you're not lucky enough to nab a free pie this time, don't worry -- just keep your eyes peeled for the next no-hitter, spam the DomiNoNo website at 3pm EST the next day, and all that greasy cheese's as good as yours.
